Dechert (Paris)
Catalina Echeverri Gallego is a senior associate at Dechert, based in Paris. Prior to joining the Paris office, Catalina worked in the firm’s Washington D.C. office and in a top-tier law firm in Colombia. She focuses her practice on international arbitration, working on both investment treaty and commercial matters in a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, infrastructure, mining, and energy. Catalina has experience in cases involving multiple jurisdictions and procedural rules, including ICC, ICSID, and ad hoc UNCITRAL arbitral tribunals. She has also acted as sole arbitrator.
Catalina holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Oxford (Chevening Scholar 2016). She currently co-teaches the course of International Contract Law at Sciences Po in Paris.
