Diego Romero is Counsel in the international arbitration practice of De Gaulle Fleurance, in Paris. He represents corporate and sovereign clients in international arbitrations under the institutional rules of the ICC, ICSID and LCIA, as well as in ad hoc proceedings under the UNCITRAL Rules, primarily in disputes involving Latin America.
He has significant experience in mining-related arbitrations and in commercial disputes arising out of M&A transactions, distribution contracts, and concession agreements in the oil and gas, pharmaceutical, and automotive sectors.
Diego also sits as arbitrator and tribunal secretary, and is actively involved in several associations dedicated to the promotion and development of international arbitration in Latin America.
