Marija Šobat is a Senior Associate at Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes. Her experience includes international commercial and investment arbitrations conducted under ICSID, SCC, ICC, CRCICA, and UNCITRAL Rules. Marija also advises on arbitration-related proceedings before national
courts and on public international law issues. She holds a law degree from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, a Master’s degree from La Sapienza University in Rome, an LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS), a joint program of the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva and the Graduate
Institute, and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where she co-founded the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association (HIALSA). She lectures on investment arbitration at Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
