Jara Mínguez Almeida is Team Leader/Senior Legal Counsel on one of the Case Management Teams at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). At ICSID, she provides legal and administrative support to arbitral tribunals and parties to resolve investment disputes in proceedings administered by the institution under the ICSID Convention, the Additional Facility and the UNCITRAL Rules.
Prior to joining ICSID, Ms. Mínguez Almeida worked as legal counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague and as international case manager at the International Centre for Dispute Resolution of the American Arbitration Association where she also served as Secretary of tribunals in investment and commercial arbitrations. She began her career at the Madrid office of Lovells LLP advising parties on international dispute resolution.
Ms. Mínguez Almeida holds a law degree from Universidad Carlos III (Madrid) and is admitted to practice law in Spain. She speaks Spanish, English and German.
