Madeline is a Senior Associate in Freshfields’ international arbitration group in Madrid. She advises a range of clients in high-stakes, complex disputes that span the globe and economic sectors. She has experience acting in international commercial and investor-state arbitrations under the ICSID, ICC, UNCITRAL and ICDR/AAA rules. Madeline also provides strategic advice to clients in relation to US sanctions, and has experience acting in global investigations and cross-border litigation. During her time at Freshfields, Madeline worked in-house with the Global Compliance team at Anheuser-Busch InBev as part of a client secondment. She is active in a range of pro bono matters, and is fluent in Spanish. She was previously based in New York.
