Associate, Armesto & Asociados
Thomas James Biscomb is an associate at Armesto & Asociados, a firm of arbitrators founded by Juan Fernández-Armesto. Thomas regularly acts as secretary and assistant to arbitral tribunals in arbitration proceedings in both commercial and investment disputes. Most of the cases are administered by ICC, ICSID and Spanish or Latin America arbitral institutions.
Thomas is a Uruguayan and British national, trained as a lawyer at the University of Montevideo, Uruguay. He also holds a Master’s degree in International Advocacy with distinction in dispute resolution from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, obtained in 2021, for which he was granted the Extraordinary Prize for obtaining the highest GPA in his class.
